how can i register with a new phone number/device?

i register with my device for the first time, now i want to register with a new phone, but when i scan the qr code, i get the following errors:
Error handling connection failure: The session isn't connected
Session persistence failed: Cannot invoke "it.auties.whatsapp.api.Whatsapp.store()" because "this.api" is null
