🚀 Installation

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.8+
  • CUDA-capable GPU recommended
  • Hugging Face account

Setup Steps

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/JoshuaFourie/Codelama-Python.git
cd codebuddy-ai
  1. Create a virtual environment:
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`
  1. Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Set up Hugging Face Token:
  • Go to Hugging Face Tokens
  • Create a new token with read access
  • Either set an environment variable:
    export HUGGING_FACE_HUB_TOKEN='your_token_here'
    Or input the token when prompted during application startup

Running the Application

python launcher.py

  • Modify theme.py to customize app branding
  • Adjust model configurations in model_manager.py
