Reverse tool swap work not correct

After some tests: "Reverse tool swap on release" works if the option is unchecked.So its negated. But this feature is not the perfect way. If i would use some tools i always have to setup the needed tool on the second mouse button.It just temporarily swap the two mousebuttons.. I think it should be a global setting to reverse all tools if used with a shortcut. Or toolwise. Second: in single tool mode it has no function.
Fazit: I think the best way could be a toolwise option for temporary using the tool. The user can setup all tools they should reverse swap after releasing the shortcut. And it should swap the tool back at the moment the key is released. I hope that function works anyday the best way.

Hello, I've added support for quick tool activation shortcuts in dfe8e65. Now, when holding a quick tool shortcut, that tool gets activated, and when releasing that shortcut, it switches back to the previous tool. Right now I've only added a default shortcut for the color picker tool, which is Alt. So for example, when holding Alt, it temporarily switches to the color picker tool, until you release Alt. For the rest of the tools, you can add shortcuts from the Preferences.

First, many thanks.
The previous existing "swap tools" function wich switches between left an right mouse button works now like a charme.
I don´t have to release the mousebutton to swap the both tools. Perfect.

Second, the same behaviour works not correct at this moment on the new quick tools section..
I have to release the mousebutton or it hangs on the selected tool.
In short-> no quicktool function if mousebutton pressed or holding quicktool+mousebutton-> release quicktool it don´t swap back.
Just make a few lines and you will see it.

Yeah, this is intentional. You cannot use the quick tool change functionality while a mouse button is pressed, otherwise it would create problems. For example, Alt is also being used when using the shape and the selection tools to move them around before actually drawing them. If we allowed tool changing while a tool is currently active, it would completely remove the shape & selection tool displacement functionality.

I went ahead and fixed the quicktool release when a mouse button is being pressed though, now it should swap back to the previous tool even if the mouse button is still being held

I test it with the SWAP TOOLS function and try the selection tool on mousebutton two and pixelorama freeze if i use the swap tools option.

Perhaps the Quick Tools could simply be limited to those specific tools—as well as the "swap tool mode for both mouse buttons"—that don't encounter issues with a forced quick swap-back.
Alternatively, we could just leave it exactly as it is now. The tool-swapping functionality is perfect just the way it is (provided, of course, that you don't have the wrong tool in your second slot).
