Usually in volunteer-driven projects like airfow - reaction time expected is at least 72 hours (read our contributing guidelines - it's explained there why). Demanding answer by posting many messsages within hours and expecting somene spend their time because YOU need answer now is extremely rude and not the way how we communicate here. It's not clear what your question is and what exactly the issue is. Also demanding response in all-volunteer disucssions is not a good idea. You might get help if someone will decide to spend their volunteer time on helping you, but this usually only happens when they know what you are asking for and when you put already some effort in not only trying to solve - and your additional comments did not make it clearer. By spending time in explaining context in more details, showing logs and problems you have explaining your environment and simply trying to help those who want to help you to understand what your problem is - significantly increases your chances of getting help. It does not give a gurarantee that you will get help, but it does increase your chances. My suggestion is - try to formulate your problem better, give some examples and logs, also - since you are using the book, probably try to make your comments and ask book authors if they provided any way to contact them. The book is authored by a group of people who wrote it, and it's not an official PMC / Airflow book, it's a (good - I endorsed it for example) book written by several people and published by Manning - it's possible someone here might give some help, but still probably better to try to reach out the authors if they have any place where you can provide feedback for the book. Also - what I would advise you - before you post hopefully better formulated question - make sure that you have modern operating system and tools as you might see from requirements https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/installation/prerequisites.html Airflow does not work on Windows - you need to use Linux (WSL2 on Windows) - it looks like you are trying to run things on Windows with non-POSIX filesystems so likely this might be the root cause of your problems - but this is just a wild guess. |
