SML script no longer works after upgrade from 13.2 to 15.2 on ESP8266

after upgrading from version 13.2 to 15.2, my SML script stopped working on ESP8266.

The same script and configuration worked fine with 13.2.
With 15.2, the SML data is no longer parsed correctly.

Has anything changed in the SML implementation or serial handling between these versions that could explain this behavior?

I just tried whether SML works for 14.0.0, 14.6.0 and 15.2.0, all worked for me on an ESP 8266.
All images were built via tasmocompiler docker image, active options:

• script support
• temperature/humidity sensors
• Timers
• Web Interface
  And SML activated via the three #ifndef/#defines as the documentation says

Since I don't have / can't create an image based on 13.2 (tasmocompiler does not support it), I was not able to check if an update from 13.2 to 15.2 leads to an issue.

Firmware 15.2.0 (ESP8266-1M ottelo.jimdo.de) works.
But I would be interested to know why my override doesn't work.
Does anyone know what was enabled in 13.2 in the default settings that is no longer there in 15.2?
