Products with Variants after deleting and adding again to shopping cart have wrong quantity

Hello,
I have the following problem in Simple Commerce:
When a product with variants (in my case 2 variants) is added to the cart with a quantity of 1, it is correctly shown in the cart with quantity 1. If I remove this product with the selected variant 1 from the cart, then go back to the same product and add it to the cart again—regardless of which variant is selected, but with a quantity of 1—the quantity in the cart is now automatically set to 2.

I've just attempted to reproduce the issue on the site you provided over email, but I'm not seeing it... removing and re-adding results in a quantity of 1 (as expected). 🤔

Replied via email but leaving my response here in case anyone else runs into it:

I've just had time to look into this.

It seems like the reCAPTCHA addon might be causing forms to be submitted multiple times.

The addon attaches an event listener to all

elements on the page - only submitting them after it's able to perform a reCAPTCHA check. However, since you're also handling form submissions via Alpine.js, the forms end up being submitted twice - once by Alpine and once by the reCAPTCHA script.

According to the addon's documentation, you may be able to workaround it by adding the "nocaptcha" class to Simple Commerce's form tags (like {{ sc:cart:addItem }} and {{ sc:cart:removeItem }}).

Alternatively, maybe there's a way you could hook into the addon's listener and do what you need to do there. Either way, it doesn't seem to be an issue with Simple Commerce itself.
