can you send the stack trace upon crash? It's most likely a missing null check so if it can be fixed without me needing to set up uwsm, that'd be charming. |

Hyprland version
Hyprland 0.57.0 (Arch package) Aquamarine 0.15.1, hyprutils 0.14.3, mesa 26.2.6, GCC 16
Is this a regression?
Bug. Not sure whether it is a regression, I only noticed it on 0.57.0.
What's the bug?
Stopping the session with uwsm stop (session started from the LY display manager through uwsm) makes Hyprland crash with SIGSEGV during CCompositor::cleanup(). systemd-coredump records a core dump every time. The session is closing anyway, so there is no visible impact, only the core dump.
The crash only happens when the scrolling layout is used. After switching general:layout to dwindle, this crash no longer occurs.
Reproduction steps
1 - Use the scrolling layout (general:layout = scrolling).
2 - Start Hyprland through uwsm.
3 - Run uwsm stop.
4 - Hyprland segfaults while shutting down.
It happens even when the active workspace is a monocle workspace used for a game, so it does not seem to depend on a fullscreen window being present. cf #16326
