Hi everyone,
I have a doubt regarding the scope of on-the-fly editing in my simulations. From my understanding, on-the-fly editing is primarily used for files like hTCProperties, Thermo2TModel, and TransportDict, where changes can be dynamically applied during runtime without restarting the solver.
However, I recently tried modifying the ChemistryProperties file during runtime. While I can see a message in the log acknowledging the changes, I am unsure if those changes are actually applied by the solver.
Here are my concerns:
Thermo2TModel, andTransportDict?ChemistryProperties, does it dynamically reinitialize the chemistry model or require a restart to apply the changes?ChemistryPropertiesare successfully reflected in the ongoing simulation (e.g., through runtime updates to reaction rates or other behavior)?I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could share their insights or experiences with this specific scenario.
Thanks in advance!
