Audio Filter window has no light or meter to show it is turned on

Expected Behavior

There should be a small light or a moving bar to show that the filter is actually working.

Current Behavior

The screen looks exactly the same when the filter is on and when it is off. This makes it very hard for new people to know if they did it right.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Right-click an audio source and click Filters.

2. Add a filter like the Limiter.

3. Look at the window and see that there is no visual change to show it is active.

Anything else we should know?

This problem was found during a school test to see if new users can easily use the software. I used design rules to find this mistake.

Thanks for the reply! I see the eye icon shows if the filter is enabled or disabled. What I meant was a 'processing' indicator, like a gain-reduction meter. For a new user, it’s hard to tell if the filter is actually doing anything to the sound without seeing a live meter inside this window.

Do you have an example of another application that does what you might be expecting here? References would be helpful.

Thanks for the feedback! An example of this would be Discord or Audacity. When you open their audio settings or add an effect, they show a live green volume bar right inside that specific properties menu so users can instantly verify their microphone levels are changing before closing the screen. I will look into how to document or improve this context.
