We've had a use case come up where we want to attach "notes"/"labels" to metric data points. The easiest path would be to chuck them into attributes, but that would technically result in each data point being it's own metrics stream.
Is there any concept or existing discussion around the idea of "non identifying attributes" for metrics? I searched and could not find anything but maybe I'm not using the right keywords.
