Introduce yourself
Hi, I’m Daniele, a curious and stubborn independent builder based in Copenhagen.
I’ve been building and publishing on GitHub for years, mostly treating it as a workshop rather than a community space, so I somehow never introduced myself.
I tend to build across domains, and not everything I work on fits under the same umbrella. If you like digging through repositories, there’s quite a bit to find.
Most of my projects start with a fairly specific problem and then get slightly out of control. I have the unfortunate habit of treating “it works” as the beginning of the investigation, not the end.

There was probably a simpler way to make a website.
Where are you in your GitHub journey?
Maintaining a project or repo owner
And where are you going next on GitHub?
I want to make more of my public work genuinely collaborative, with more room for outside ideas, criticism, design, testing, implementation and directions I would probably never reach on my own. I’m also starting to spend more time contributing to other projects, not only maintaining my own.
Note
I’m not looking only for code contributions. Different perspectives, criticism, design, experiments and unexpected directions are just as interesting to me.
What technical skills or projects are you working on?
My work moves between AI systems, mathematical and developer tooling, procedural generation, visualization and experimental computing. I usually start with a fairly specific problem and keep pushing until it reveals a more interesting one ( including failures 🥇 )
Got a question for us? (optional)
For maintainers who started by building mostly alone, what made the biggest difference in turning a repository people looked at into one they actually felt comfortable contributing to?
