Detach a fork that has forks of its own, keeping its issues and stars #211503

Only GitHub staff can do this. "Leave fork network" does not work for a fork with child forks, and it drops the issues and stars. Do not open a general ticket. Use the fork request page that the "Detaching a fork" docs link to: https://support.github.com/request/fork I did not use this page myself, so I cannot say if it is open on the Free plan. |

ItzSkyeYT/InterTune started as a fork of OuterTune/OuterTune and has become its own project, with its own releases, issues and 77 stars. We'd like it to leave the fork network.
"Leave fork network" in Settings isn't available, because InterTune has forks of its own, and the docs say it would drop the issues, pull requests, wiki and stars anyway. Our two support tickets (#4915724 and #4918309) were closed automatically because we're on the Free plan.
Is there a way for GitHub staff to detach it while keeping that data, or a route we've missed?
