You can avoid publishing ports 25 (public), 587 and 465 authenticated ports (private) which should prevent receiving any external traffic. Some internal services may send mail to local accounts periodically depending on your configuration, could you be more specific if these are mails you're receiving or finding being sent that you'd like to prevent? Most mail sent outbound should be via Postfix, but something else may still attempt to send without going through that. DMS might not be the right fit for you, there might be simpler solutions if DMS isn't really helping you beyond Dovecot (and however you're approaching archiving the old mail server storage). After migrating mail, is the only need to access the stored mail via IMAP? If so I'm sure there is an alternative out there that caters to just that 😅 Or if using Docker Compose you could extend the DMS image to make some tweaks to only run Dovecot. |

Hi, as I use my docker-mailserver more as an archive for an old mail server I had I wanted to ask if it is possible to disable sending and receiving mails for the docker mail server?
