This Bash script list all download links for the latest version of Splunk Enterprise and the Universal Forwarder.
The way this script works is that it looks for all lines containing "data-link" in the HTLM source code of either https://www.splunk.com/en_us/download/splunk-enterprise.html (for Splunk Enterprise) or https://www.splunk.com/en_us/download/universal-forwarder.html (for Universal Forwarder).
The first command line argument is either full (for Splunk Enterprise) or uf (for Universal Fowarder).
$ bash splunk-downloader.sh
Usage: splunk-downloader.sh [full|uf]

List all Splunk Enterprise links:

I use this script in conjunction with wget to download the latest deb package:
