Stripping leading zeros

Hi all.

I just discovered that this request for a route:
https://vrs-standing-data.adsb.lol/routes/SV/SVA037.json

does not return anything But this does:
https://vrs-standing-data.adsb.lol/routes/SV/SVA37.json

So stripping the leading "0" works. Where is this documented?

Edit: I found something here:

	The leading zeros are then stripped from the number. However, if this leads
	to a number that is either empty, or just letters, then a single zero is added
	back to the start of the number.

But this Normalisation looks weird.
