I learned about this project on a YouTube video, and as someone who hates most AI and especially Copilot, I jumped at the chance to trim it down from my Windows 11 PC.
There's only one problem. A tool I use a lot, the Snipping Tool, but I think it's the Windows 11 version that you access using the shortcut Win+Shift+S, and that it both copies the selected area to the clipboard as well as save it as a file called something like "Screenshot 2026-03-23 175121.png", doesn't work like that anymore.
It does show up when I press the shortcut, and I'm able to drag the marquee as usual, but it only copies the selection to the clipboard, it doesn't save a file like it did before I ran this script.
Granted, I had selected to install the classic Snipping Tool, so my bad, but I just did the revert mode thing, rebooted when prompted, and it's still the same, only saves to clipboard.
Other than loading the restore point I did before I ran the script, is there an easy way to do it? Even better, if I restore it and run this script again, will not checking the "Install Classic Snipping Tool" choice will give me the benefits of this script but keep the snip tool that saves PNGs automatically?
