Instead of the rainbow swatch we use a icon for the custom color option. (cherry picked from commit 06501a4)
Make the color picker swatch an input addon for better UI and cross browser styling. (cherry picked from commit 38accb6)
For a simple color picker without a set of predefined colors we show a text input and the color picker. Both syncronized. (cherry picked from commit 70c3fcd)
