Continuing Education – Reset course completion record

Issue – Course shows “completed” when students purchase and retake the same course they had completed previously.
Background – Students have mandatory courses they need to take. Some courses need to be taken annually or once every X years or once per license cycle. Currently the student can purchase and re-enroll in a previously completed course. The course, however, preserves the completion status from the previous purchase. This:
- allows the student to fast forward through content regardless of controls
- prevents an updated course completion record
- prevents the creation of a new CE certificate
Request – Reset the completion record when a course is repurchased (best)
OR
Reset the completion record after X period of time.
If this has been addressed with a code snippet I'd appreciate a copy!
