Feature Request: release a new major version before Node 20 EOL

Feature request

Node.js 20 is approaching end-of-life in approximately 30 days. As part of maintaining a secure and up-to-date CI/CD pipeline, it’s important for this action to support newer Node.js runtimes.

It appears that Node.js 24 is already supported in main branch, but there has not yet been a corresponding major version release to officially adopt it.

Publish a new major version of this action that officially uses Node.js 24
Provide guidance or migration notes if there are any breaking changes
