While investigating random alternative converter test failures I found that file downloads test is affecting alternative converter test causing "socket hang up" errors.
Socket hangups are related with keep alive option, it was set only for uploads. Setting keep alive for all connections solves the issue.
Extracted options builder to reduce logic duplication.
