In base Balatro, the Win Streak statistic (in the Options menu under Stats) shows you your highest and current win streak. I typically start a new run before hitting the loss screen in my current run, which would normally reset the current win streak to 0 if you haven't beaten the Ante 8 Boss of the current run. With this mod installed, that is no longer the case, regardless of if you select the deck and stake manually or use the Last Run option.
