There have been reports of changes getting reverted unexpectedly with errors like this being shown:

Sometimes the error appears a while after the change is made. It's possible that multiple changes are in flight for the same feature, and one ends up getting rejected. This may be exacerbated by changes taking longer than expected (perhaps due to feature document status checks).
