Path switching doesn't work

• I tried to fix the problem by reading the Errors.log and restarting QuickSwitch as administrator

Description without log

Version 1.9.12 doesn't work at all with Total commander.
It shows its open tabs but doesn't switch to them.
It also doesn't work with a mix of Total commander and XYplorer path's.
I tried it with a fresh config with no success.

I'm still using version 1.19 without any problems.
I'm very happy with it, using Total commander and XYplorer.

In which app/file dialog path switching doesn't working? Can you record any gif/video?

The editor is PSPad, but it happens also in any other standard dialog like in Akelpad.
A Video would not help

The QuickSwitch menu shows 3 tabs from both sides of TC for example
whatever entry I click closes the menu but doesn't change the path in the dialog.

The video actually may help because I've changed Menu appearing behavior and I want to see how window focus changes during this clicks.

Version 1.19 has no problems at all for me under actual Windows 11 25H2.

As I said, some critical parts were changed.

Added 1.9.13. Please try this version and attach Errors.log again. My current assumptions:

• Something wrong with focus changing (target dialog doesn't recieves activation signal)
• Script ignores commands from Menu because there's some restriction from OS (no admin permissions?)
• Microsoft changed smth in 25h2 and we can't catch it
• Something went wrong with receiving hwnd of the Edit field
• Hwnd of the file dialog is incorrect
• There's error suppression in core path switching function

Investigating...

UPD: log confirms that there's no issues with critical changes in the Menu algorithms

There are no permission problems on this OS config.
QuickSwitch 1.19 and Listary are working perfect in all Open / Save dialogs.
I guess you should test in the actual Windows 11 version.

Please try 1.9.14 and attach Errors.log again.

On the first try it goes to the wrong entry (current path of one side in TC but not the clicked entry).
On the next try it uses a wrong entry from the list.
From then on it doesn't change the path anymore

Your log shows that it tries to set file name with 1 space ' ' and successfully changes the path. I don't understand the issue and I don't see any problems. Please record a video.
