Fix stale daily fills after loading minute data - #1182
SachuJames wants to merge 1 commit into
Conversation
When the data source's fill timestep fell back to day while an intraday (minute/hour) series was already loaded for the order's asset, the fill priced off minute data resampled to day. The resample drops the current partial session, so fills landed on the previous day's pre-market bar (issue Lumiwealth#1175). Now the fill uses the intraday unit already loaded for that asset, keeping the IBKR stock/index native-day contract intact. Adds unit coverage for the resolver plus an end-to-end regression test that replays the issue scenario with mocked Polygon data.

Evaluate all intervening intraday bars for daily-cadence working orders.
When _resolve_order_fill_timestep returns "minute" or "hour" for a daily fallback, process_pending_orders evaluates limit, stop, and trailing orders using only that selected bar's high and low. The executor processes pending orders once per trading iteration, then advances the broker by the configured 1D sleep duration. It does not scan the skipped intraday bars. An order that crosses only during an intervening bar can remain open and produce incorrect backtest results.
Preserve daily-range evaluation for working orders, or evaluate every intervening intraday bar before advancing the daily strategy.
