Live brokers: let a stop interrupt the market-hours waits - #1254
While a live strategy waits for the market to open or close, it is stuck in one long sleep that can last a whole trading day or a weekend, so stopping it does nothing until the bell. This makes those waits end as soon as the strategy is told to stop.
Problem
Broker._await_market_to_open, Broker._await_market_to_close and Alpaca._await_market_to_close each end in a single blocking sleep for the whole remaining interval. A stopped strategy's thread stays parked until the market opens or closes (#1252).
Change
Broker._sleep_unless_stopped(sleeptime, strategy) waits on the strategy executor's stop_event. StrategyExecutor.stop() sets that event, and Trader._stop_pool calls stop(). With no executor, as for direct callers, it falls back to self.sleep(sleeptime), so behavior is unchanged there.
All three live waits use it. The now-unused import time is removed from alpaca.py.
BacktestingBroker overrides both waits and does not call these, so backtests are unaffected.
Tests
The new tests/test_live_market_waits_interruptible.py covers:
the open wait and the close wait returning at once when the strategy is already stopped;
both waits breaking out when a stop arrives mid-wait;
the full-interval sleep being kept when there is no executor.
Before the fix, the already-stopped test hung until it was killed (20 s timeout); after it, all 5 pass in under 1 s.
# every test file that references the market waits, broker sleep, or stop_event, plus the new file

# 184 passed, 5 skipped (Python 3.12)
ruff check --select F,I adds no new findings.
This PR is independent of the #1113 fix and merges cleanly with it; the combined test files pass together.
Compatibility
There is no public API change. A live strategy that is not stopped waits exactly as before; a stopped one returns immediately from the wait. No docs change is needed.
Broker._await_market_to_open/_await_market_to_close and
Alpaca._await_market_to_close ended in one blocking sleep for the whole
remaining interval (up to a trading day, or a weekend), so a stopped
strategy's thread stayed parked until the bell (Lumiwealth#1252).
They now wait on the strategy executor's stop_event, which
StrategyExecutor.stop() sets, so a stop returns at once. Without an
executor the behavior is unchanged (self.sleep). BacktestingBroker
overrides both waits and is unaffected.

Walkthrough
Market-open and market-close waits now use a shared helper that can return early when the strategy executor’s stop event is set. Without a stop event, the helper uses the broker’s existing sleep method. Tests cover both paths.
The broker helper waits on the strategy executor’s stop event when available, and otherwise uses self.sleep. Broker market-open and market-close waits and Alpaca’s market-close wait use the helper. Tests cover already-set and mid-wait stop events, plus the no-executor fallback.

Explanation
The title "Live brokers: let a stop interrupt the market-hours waits" matches the main change. The PR makes the market-open and market-close waits in the base Broker and Alpaca brokers wait on the strategy executor's stop_event, so a stop ends the wait early. The title names the live brokers and the market-hours waits, which are the core of the changeset, and it avoids file lists or vague wording.

Explanation
Issue #1252 requires prompt interruption of live market-open and market-close waits. The PR adds Broker._sleep_unless_stopped, uses the strategy executor stop_event when available, and updates both base waits and Alpaca._await_market_to_close. The fallback preserves self.sleep behavior without an executor. The added tests cover stopped-before-wait, stopped-during-wait, and no-executor behavior.

Make the Alpaca close wait reachable.
Alpaca and Broker do not define process_pending_orders, so a normal Alpaca close wait raises AttributeError before reaching the new helper. The test adds this method with raising=False, which hides the failure. Remove or replace this pre-existing call for live brokers and test without inventing the method. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Propagate cancellation beyond the wait.
When a stop wakes this wait, callers cannot distinguish it from a completed market wait. A strategy callback can therefore submit an order immediately after await_market_to_close() returns.
The executor also continues market-session setup after an interrupted open wait. If cleanup finishes first, it can start a scheduler and a non-daemon queue thread after shutdown. Propagate cancellation and stop both callback execution and session setup before they continue. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

A stop must wake live market waits for every strategy and broker; this capability is independent of any particular integration. Adopt the upstream market-wait repair from PR #1254 and cover already-stopped, mid-wait and direct-call behavior without elapsed-time assertions.
