Valid Semgrep queries and explanatory messages can be interpreted as shell commands, leaving static inspection incomplete.
Recognize their roles after a complete bounded YAML parse and a supported rule/formula structure. Query fields receive matching-language ownership, and explanatory messages use Markdown boundaries. Dynamic execution and resource limits in messages retain their diagnostics. Raw and decoded security findings remain active. Unsupported schemas, runtime instructions in other fields or comments, and missing finding provenance retain their existing handling.
