A failed shell-word parse can pair quote characters from unrelated Python tokens and charge later source code to a short string value.

Recheck that failure against the complete value established by the existing Python ownership proof. Keep unresolved extensions and runtime commands incomplete, retain the existing parser limits, and preserve security findings from the original source.
