Patches in unsupported version will still be selected after enabling 'Version compatibility check'

Bug description

If you select patches in an unsupported version while 'Version compatibility check' is disabled, and then enable the 'Version compatibility check' toggle the unsupported patches do not get deselected.

This bug was apparent in older manager versions until it was fixed in this PR, which explains the issue well.
