Any thoughts on if acestep.cpp might one day be able to handle LoRA training?

Yes, it's possible. GGML has the building blocks for backprop and there's prior art in llama.cpp's training experiments.

Right now my priority is finishing the app so it works one-click on every platform with a user-friendly README. Once that's done I'll look into a training stack for LoRA fine-tuning.
