Create labels on the fly when creating a point/rect/etc

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Problem: takes a lot of extra mental gymnastics to add points & labels separately

Describe the solution you'd like
In the right side menu, should be possible to directly type a label & it would be added to the list of labels

Describe alternatives you've considered
Using the current solution which is cumbersome

Additional context
Would implement but not sure if project is still maintained
