Broadcast on specific interface

I have an issue with a device that has 2 interfaces (Wi-Fi and Ethernet with 2 different IP addresses).

Currently, when I initiate the discovery from another device, I randomly receive either the Ethernet IP or the Wi-Fi IP during the resolution of the IP.

Is it possible to launch the broadcast with a specific interface?

So the problem occurs with the broadcast of the first device. Which platform are you using ?

Android platform (for all devices in environment) but with devices can contains both interface ethernet + wifi

I have such a similar situation. I'm working on an app the uses smartphones hotspot to create a network and annouce itself so the devices can connect to the app.

If I have more then one network interface enabled it randomly broadcast the service on one of them.

I've had a similar problem with the webserver, it randomly ran on an undesired interface. I was able to mitigate by running a logic tha identifies if the interface is a hotspot.

If bonsoir was able to work like HttpServer.bind(); would be wornderful
