GIF to PNG please

Seems you treat all GIFs as only Animated GIF, and it does not appear in the option to convert to PNG. Please add it. I tried to create a new preset for this, but still cannot add a new input type, so not sure how that is supposed to work.

I too, have this problem as well. I am trying to convert all of my image files to one format, PNG. While the animated GIF files I want to convert to MP3 files, I want the plain GIF images to be in PNG format as the other image files. There should be a way to have GIF added to image files. Even if the user knows, they may want the GIF file to loose the animation. If not, they will learn to notice the difference.

I'll third this. I don't use ANY animated GIF's, and need the ability to convert from .gif (still images) to .png
