Any plans to make new release?

It is already almost two years since last release and in git repo is ATM commited +1k commits.
It would be really good to make new release .. please :)

+1. The new GLIBC breaks this package horribly (#85 has a proposed fix). Seems like a good time to get a new release out.

Comparing with master, we can see there is really only 1 change since the last release: 2.20.1...master

Note, that in Fedora and Debian we essentially maintain a fork of fakechroot with nearly the same patch stack on top of 1.20.1:

Until there is a new release, I'll maintain a branch with the patches that we use in Debian at https://github.com/josch/fakechroot/tree/debian -- I also filed a pull request that contains all those commits here:

• All changes to fakechroot we carry in Debian for glibc >= 2.37 #104

Most notably, that also contains the changes that are necessary for glibc >= 2.34 which means wrapping all libc calls that access /etc/passwd and friends.
