Is <TextInput textAlignVertical /> intentionally effective?

The multiline section of <TextInput> mentioned textAlignVertical without saying where exactly should we add this prop.

Searches on textAlignVertical give Text Style Props which seems to be the recommended place to use it. But I accidentally find adding the prop onto <TextInput> effective as well.

I am not sure if this is an intentional behavior (then we might want to document it on TextInput) or some leaking bugs of somewhere in the react-native core?
