Description
Description
In the filters or any number field, the thousands separator is always in the English format (i.e., 1,000) instead of 1000 or 1 000 in French. This can be very confusing for users who are not accustomed to this convention. In French, the comma is used as the decimal separator, so 1,000 could be interpreted as 1.
Here is an example in this map https://dev-mapstore.geosolutionsgroup.com/mapstore/#/viewer/10358
Thousands_separator_issue.mov
How to reproduce
- Go the the filters
- Choose a number field
- Enter a number higher than 1 thousand
Expected Result
The separator should adapt to the language Mapstore is set to. If it is in English, the separator should be a comma for thousands and a dot for decimals. If it is in another language, it should follow the respective country’s convention.
Current Result
It only displays the english convention.
