Why should this be included in the repository?
Valdo is a new project creator from templates for new Vala projects. A lot of ide integrations require a lot of manual scaffolding, and this helps get new projects up and running.
Are we allowed to redistribute it?
LGPL-2.1-or-later
What kind of user will use this package, and how many users do you think will use this package?
Developers using the Vala programming language with IDEs without equivalent new project wizards (vim, neovim, zed, etc.). Unsure of how many users.
