More Information
GivHome provides local-first GivEnergy battery integration for Apple Home via Homebridge. It supports Intelligent Octopus Go charging behaviour, manual charge/export controls, local MQTT/REST integration via GivTCP, and Eve-compatible solar/import/export energy history. The project is designed to avoid cloud dependency and subscription lock-in for GivEnergy battery owners.
The verification check script has recently been updated. If you believe any result below is incorrect (a false positive), please reply to this issue and let us know — it helps us tune the new checks.
🔴 Failed Checks
Config Schema JSON: pluginAlias ("GivHome") does not match the name registered in code (found: "homebridge-giv-iog-local", "GivEnergy Local + Intelligent Octopus Go"). The pluginAlias must equal the platform name passed to api.registerPlatform(), or the settings UI will not work.

ℹ️ Check Details
These checks were run against v3.5.0 of the plugin.
Thank you — this has been corrected in v3.5.1-beta.2.
The runtime platform name remains unchanged as "GivEnergy Local + Intelligent Octopus Go" to preserve existing Homebridge installs and child bridge/accessory identity.
The config.schema.json pluginAlias now matches that registered platform name. This avoids changing the live platform identity while satisfying the verification check.

If for any reason in the future you can no longer maintain your plugin, please consider transferring it to our Homebridge Plugins organization.
Don't forget to join the official Homebridge Discord server, where plugin developers can get tips and advice from other developers and the Homebridge project team in the #plugin-development channel!
As a verified plugin, you can request a channel in the Discord server to discuss your plugin with users and other developers. Just ask in the #plugin-development channel.
Thank you for your contribution to the Homebridge community.
Sorry for how long this took — you fixed the pluginAlias issue back in May and then the issue was auto-closed (twice!) through no fault of your own, while you were actually waiting on us. That auto-close behaviour has now been removed from this repo entirely.
The plugin is now verified — the comment above has the details on adding the verified badge to your readme. One small ask going forward: it would be great to see GitHub releases (with notes) for new versions as you publish them, including the current v3.7.4. Thanks for contributing to Homebridge!
