More Information
Rewrite of homebridge-decent-advanced-rest-api targeting Decaid's newer REST + WebSocket API — the original plugin targets the legacy de1app REST API and doesn't work against Decaid. Verified no existing verified plugin covers Decent/DE1/espresso machines. Tested end-to-end against live DE1 Pro hardware through a running Decaid instance.

Checks all passing and the code reads well, so this one is verified 🎉
Just to put your mind at rest about the storage directory question you answered "No" to — that's completely fine here. The requirement only applies if a plugin writes files to disk, and yours doesn't write anything at all, so there's nothing that could end up in the wrong place.
The WebSocket handling is solid too — reconnects, stale-data invalidation and a timeout on the REST call are all there. Crediting homebridge-decent-advanced-rest-api and explaining why the rewrite was needed is appreciated as well.
Please do keep putting notes on each GitHub release going forward — they show up in the Homebridge UI when people update the plugin.
