Keyboard shortcut failure with small sidbar: Go forward one day

When the left side bar is made small, the "Go forward one day" keyboard shortcut doesn't work

To Reproduce

1. Grab the left-sidebar's right-divider and shrink it (drag left) until the "Forward" button at the top disapears.
2. The "Go forward one day" keyboard shortcut (<Ctrl> + PageDown) will no longer work.

Expected behavior

The keyboard shortcuts should work regardless of the position of the divider.
Arguably the icons at the top should only get pushed to the left, instead of the Forward button being hidden, then pushed to the left.

Seems like the problem was already fixed years ago, looking at the changelog:

The main problem, I guess, is that those shortcuts they are directly tied to the icons themselves using accelerators, if one of them (icon) disappear due to resize, so it does the respective assigned shortcut.

The upstream version you are using '2.42' is already supposed, I think, to show all icons independent of resize, which means, you should have both the icons always visible rather than being hidden plus shortcuts working because they are always visible.

P.S: The "fix" of showing all icons is very specific to the navigation buttons, because as it seems all the other icons like "Preview", "Template", "Insert" and "Format" can disappear due to resize, and as result losing their shortcuts.

By the way, the Flatpak version has the same problem (locked to 2.34), so if you're running on flatpak you should expect the same bug.

I think that it would be simple to a fixer try moving the shortcuts for all those icons to a global listener for key presses rather than tying them to buttons that can disappear, or add the same logic the developer used to make the icons always visible independent of resize, I guess.
