How to store schedule and scores

I want to run a program every day that takes every team's schedule and results. What this ends up meaning is that every day I end up importing, for example, every team's results from May 1st every day for the entire season.

Is there a way I can cleverly note that I already imported May 1st's results, while still grabbing the previous day's results anew?
