I'm Joshua Mo, a software engineer who specialises in Rust. Professionally, I make stuff and write blog posts for people who are interested in writing Rust. I'm also interested in AI/ML and WASM.
Professionally I am a lead DevRel engineer for Venice.ai, a private AI model platform. I also do other stuff:
- I coach at workshops for a charity called Codebar, who are dedicated to assisting underrpresented groups in tech get jobs
- I'm currently overseeing some of the software stuff at AI Engine, a community event for AI builders.
- Feb 2023 - Feb 2025: DevRel Engineer at shuttle.dev (Company ceased operations as of the start of 2026)
- Jan 2025 - April 2026: Rig project lead at Playgrounds Analytics inc.
- Current: Lead DevRel Engineer for Venice.ai

- 🦀 rig-experimental - An experimental companion package for rig.
