This should be fixed in database.cpp not in the widget. |

The widget's saveAs method is what currently changes the database path to the new filename, which causes the bug. I'm not really sure how this would be fixed in database.cpp. |
Copy necessary saving sequence from the save function into saveAs function to prevent inconsistencies when saving to a new file.

Fix a bug where trying to 'save as' with an invalid file name and then
cancelling would cause the application to continue trying to use the
invalid path.
Type of change
Description and Context
The 'save as' method changes the database path to the user's input before attempting to save, but didn't change the path back if the save fails. Future saves would fail because they would attempt to use the invalid name.
The database path is now reset immediately after a failed save, before the user is prompted to choose a new name or cancel.
