## User-Facing Changes

NA

## Description

Implements a GitFlow-based release workflow.
A pre-release with a version in the format vX.Y.Z-rc.N can be manually
triggered on demand.
Every merge into main triggers a full release — if it’s from a hotfix
branch, it bumps the patch version; if it’s from a release branch, it
bumps the minor version.

### Repo Settings:

1 - A new ruleset to protect branch `develop` from merge was created.
2 - The new base branch will be `develop` which will raise the need for
updating every existing PR to merge with develop.
3 - Branches with naming that is not compliant with repo rules will
trigger the failure of `enforce-branch-naming` worflow.

## User-Facing Changes

Users can now select multiple layouts at once. Previously, the UI
suggested that bulk actions (Delete, Revert, Duplicate, Save) would
apply to all selected layouts, but these actions were either broken or
misleading.

This PR fixes the bulk actions so that they correctly apply to multiple
selections.

## Description

Enables bulk actions (Delete, Revert, Duplicate, Save) to work as
expected when multiple layouts are selected.

Multiple selection is supported via `modKey + mouse click`.
Multiple selection with `shift + mouse click` is intentionally disabled.

## User-Facing Changes
Users can now open a second instance, using the flag
`--force-multiple-windows` and `--source`.

## Description
In the implementation of `--force-multiple-windows`, it was passed the
files arguments to be opened, but not the files in the `--source`. It
was merged and unified to be in one place, and called accordingly.

Unit tests were also added.

## User-Facing Changes

This update introduces a warning message to notify users when
high-frequency topics are detected in the data source. Specifically, if
message throughput exceeds 60Hz, a warning is displayed with the
following text:

"High frequency topics detected — The current data source has one or
more topics with message frequency higher than 60Hz, which may impact
performance and application memory."

<img width="679" height="258" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/a975850f-d466-4da0-b2ce-d653d387c582"
/>

**Purpose**
- Improve visibility into potential performance bottlenecks.
- Help users identify data streams that may cause excessive memory usage
or UI lag.

## Description
Now when a data source is loaded, via `IterablePlayer` or
`FoxgloveWebSocketPlayer`, an additional verification takes place that
looks for at least on topic with message frequency higher than 60hz and,
if founded, the alert visible on the image above is created.

## User-Facing Changes

N/A

## Description

This exception was added to address extreme cases when changes made by
PRs don't require a quality gate, such as code coverage, depending on
the type of change. For example, when a developer or dependabot updates
lint and code formatting libraries, where there are no logical changes,
Sonar identifies these changes as new code and requires code coverage to
be met. Therefore, by adding the "dependencies" label to the pull
request, the Sonar check continues to be performed and presented in the
pull request, but it is no longer required to proceed with the PR merge.

## User-Facing Changes

Extension developers previously had no visibility into errors or
warnings from their message converters unless they actively monitored
the browser console.

This update introduces a new feature that displays message converter
errors and warnings directly within the 3D Panel, providing better
transparency and improving the debugging experience for extension
developers.

## Description
Bumps @mui/material from 5.13.5 to 7.2.0. This is the continuation of PR
#489, opened by dependabot.

Modifications required:
- Adapt custom props of components
- Create custom typography and insert it manually, as built-in
typography does not support custom properties anymore
- Change to dev build for e2e testing, it seems material ui does not
bundle data-testid to production anymore, so many tests broke.

More info about migration to @mui/material v7 can be found on official
documentation:
https://mui.com/material-ui/migration/upgrade-to-v7/

Obs.: In this PR it was not made any new tests or refactors, just to
implement the change of dependabot that was pendent for a long time
