Distance model

Hi Marco!

I'm trying to extract the points (and subsequently the polygons they form) from a point cloud that are within a fixed distance from at least another point n the same cloud.

Is this possible to achieve using vedo? From the methods, my initial guess was that maybe compute_connections() would do something like that, but i'd rather confirm with you.

Or by just measuring the distance of the point cloud to a point with:
https://vedo.embl.es/autodocs/content/vedo/vedo/pointcloud.html#Points.distance_to

If the point is on the surface and the distance is the shortest path then:
https://vedo.embl.es/autodocs/content/vedo/vedo/mesh.html#Mesh.geodesic
