Gradual slowing of the pointer movement speed.

Scenario when this would be used?

When the pointer approaches the edge of the screen the movement of the pointer gets slowed as if there is a magnet in the edge repealing the pointer hence avoiding any unnecessary wrapping. This can be turned on or off, also the threshold can be maintained.

I don't know. It's being tracked and discussed, at least, so it might be fixed later. You could thumbs-up that issue to signal your interest, and close yours to prevent clutter.
