Resume from sleep after a long break.

Open Command Prompt

Then run wsl:

Expected Behavior

Open a new Linux shell.

Per #9490 (comment), I have reproduced the error and created a new issue with logs.

Meaning that the Windows & Linux side got synchronized. Does this reproduce if you run wsl --shutdown ? Also what were you doing before you hit this ?
