Thank you for making these changes, look good to me. How did you run the app? When I try to run the "WinUIGallery unpackaged" target in VS I am hitting a fatal exception immediately

Hi @marcelwgn
You're encountering this exception because the WinUIGallery still uses Application Settings, which aren't supported in unpackaged apps.
The issue is addressed in PR #2001, but it hasn't been merged yet.
Once it's merged, the app should run without issues in unpackaged mode.
I've tested it locally using the changes from that PR, and it worked fine.
