Support for "Retry-After" header?

It looks to me like there is no way to access the value provided by the server for Retry-After when throttling is applied.

It would be good to make it available on the GraphErr type, but I don't know if you'd want to add it as a top-level property on the object (probably not!) or access to the raw/parsed headers in general.

Hello! You can access response headers when using callbacks with the rawResponse parameter that has everything that we don't surface by default.

I agree that we're missing support for accessing headers when developers use promises instead of callbacks. Adding it to the GraphErr type would work, but then you can only access the headers if the call failed. I'm not sure we can add this to the resolved promise without a breaking change.

Would adding headers to just the object passed to the error promise handler solve your issue?

I can solve the issue by switching to the callback style, thanks for that. I picked up this code from a colleague so wasn't aware both promise/callback interfaces were provided.

In terms of surfacing the headers for promise users, yes, I guess adding the headers to the object in the reject callback would suffice.

@bengourley We were you able to find the Retry After headers on the response? I don't see that header on the response when I get the 429 errors.

I no longer develop the application I was using this on, but from my memory we didn't get around to attempting to use the retry-after header in the application. I don't think I ever did an ad-hoc test that resulted in a 429 with which to test for the header either. Sorry I can't be of more help!

@luzlab There should be a place for opening issues like this. This looks like it is either a service issue if the retry-after is expected, or if it shouldn't be expected, we should update the documentation. I've got some questions out on this and will leave this issue open until I have an answer.

@luzlab This isn't a good place for opening issues like this since this repo is for the client library. We are a consumer of the service. I'd just be a go between you and those who can say if this your reported issue is expected. The service (Graph) and underlying functionality (workloads like Exchange, OneDrive, etc) are where issues like this should go.
