How to set resolution to 72dpi?

I have noticed that my JPGs created by the plugin are showing resolution of 144dpi in Photoshop. Is there a way to set the resolution to 72dpi?

I am facing the same issue here. I am attempting to resize the jpg to a smaller size (eg. jpg -> bitmap -> smaller jpg) however, the smaller jpg has a higher dpi which is making it ~500MB bigger than the original jpg?
