The problem
The Results panel replaces the tool form and its content is gone once closed, so comparing two runs of the same tool (e.g. before and after a server change) means copying JSON out by hand. It also shows only the parsed payload, without the duration or the arguments sent; the TUI's result view already shows both.
Solution you have in mind (optional)
Keep the form visible beside the result, and keep a per-tool history of runs (arguments, duration, isError, full result envelope) with Re-run and a diff between two selected runs.
Alternatives or workarounds you have tried
Exporting the protocol log and diffing outside the Inspector.

Shipped in #2894. Kept on the maintainer's decision after it merged, despite the earlier not-planned close.
